FEIJAO ROCKING CHAIR

€5,950.00

By Rodrigo Simão, 2015

Contemporary rocking chair "Feijão" bean by Brazilian Architect and Designer Rodrigo Simão, limited edition. Designed by Rodrigo Simão, the Feijão pays tribute to the awarded designer's country of origin not only in its name, which means "bean" - a staple of the Brazilian menu. Simão's take on the traditional rocking chair responsibly showcases Brazil's flora diversity with the use of three naturally colorful kinds of reclaimed hardwood: Pink Peroba, Canela and Imbuia. Made with the combination of Industrial and artisanal techniques, the Feijão features one seamless surface with no visible joints, emphasising the graphic pattern of stripes composed by the contrasting woods.
